· Coordinates actions with operations to ensure that the quality system procedures meet or exceed applicable ISO/TL standards.
· Supports coordination of external and internal quality system audits and management reviews, recommends corrective/preventative actions, priorities and plans for improvement initiatives and measures quality results.
· Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, provide support with process documentation and metrics identification, participate in collaborative cross-functional teams to deliver company wide quality solutions incorporating best practices, lead local improvement projects, establishing benchmarks and best practices and aligning with overall business goals for areas on responsibility
· Supports manufacturing by assisting in problem solving activities as quality issues arise in production
