Position: Senior Fashion designer (Garment Export- high end)

Location: Sector-3, Noida

Responsibilities

·         Should have worked with both American and European brands

·         Researching fashion trends and staying current on contemporary styles.

·         Sketching rough and detailed drawings of apparel and writes specifications describing factors, such as colour scheme, construction, and type of material to be used.

·         Examines sample garment on and off model and modifies design as necessary to achieve the desired effect.

·         Working closely with Buyers & buying houses to design & merchandise a complete line of garments each season by providing design inputs

·      Gather information about fashion trends and consumer preferences

·      Develop products as per buyer specifications. Shall be solely responsible for the forecasting of fashion and the total range development.

·         Knowledge of conducting and analyzing research on consumer lifestyles, market segments and competition

·         Acumen in developing new concepts and effecting product developments

·         Insights into global trends and the ability to forecast global trends

·         Knowledge of range planning

·         Ability to handle multimedia presentations for buyers and visitors

·         Knowledge of handling computerized tools for designing purposes

·         Dexterity in evaluating the construction of a design for bulk production

·         Ability to understand fabric structures and their properties
