Position: Merchandising Manager (Garment Export)

Location: Sector-3, Noida

Experience: 8-15 year

Responsibilities

·         Business development, Operational and production planning

·         Executing the Purchase orders by meeting more than the customer satisfaction.

·         Coordinating with Production, Planning, Supplier, Shipping Company, Clearing Agents & Transporters for shipping of goods within the stipulated time.

·         Liaising with designers and product development team for brands/label requirements.

·         Thorough understanding of global sourcing, costing production, QA, freight and logistics, and customs and regulatory needs

·         Close association with Buyer/Designer/liaison office for season wise requirement.

·         All approvals /sampling /testing /LC /documentation against buyer requirement and company policy.

·         Keen observation towards the factory/vendors for approvals, quality, work environment so as to meet the deliveries in the given lead-time.

·         Follow-up on fabric / accessories / process delivery in order to meet up the garment delivery.

·         TNA framing and achieving the timelines for approval deadline , material in-house, pcd and delivery dates.

·         Reconcile and balance accounts, Reports on order completion with costs involved & Revenue achieved

 

Key Skills

·         Familiarity with industry norms and standards

·         Knowledge of the method of assessing suppliers

·         Knowledge of various fabrics and trims

·         Awareness about the method of assessing suppliers

·         Competency in computer application and excellent communication skills

·         Knowledge of Costing, Production Planning and Tracking

·         Knowledge of various fabrics and trims

·         Prior experience of report writing and presentation methods
