Position: Production Merchandiser

Education: Degree

Salary 30-40k

Timing - 9.30 am to 6.00 pm (6 Days a week)

 

Experience & Skills:

·         3-5 years preferably (majorly in womens western wear)

·         Confident speaking to customers and strong communications skills (written & verbal)

·         Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·         A good team player, with a positive attitude to their work and is adaptable to new challenges

·         Highly organized, with strong analytical and numerical skills.

·         Ability to work to tight deadlines.

·         Comfortable with MS excel and ERP.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Making production Time and action calendar.

·         Preparing BOM and Execution of sourcing trims/accessories.

·         Giving approval for printing, embroidery production, and other subcontracting work.

·         Giving clarification to production and quality team if required related to style workmanship/trims etc.

·         Take proper handover taken from the sampling division.

·         Communicate material requirements after a thorough check.

·         Check the material on receipt to ensure it is correct and the quality is ok. Testing should be done as per client requirements.

·         Issue styles to jobbers with clear instructions on all technical points and ensure correct material (quantity+quality) is issued to them in stores.

·         Does a thorough pilot run study for technical points and material+labour consumption. Study any problems in technical aspects and differences in consumption at this point so we can solve the problem before full production starts.

·         Ensure timely deliveries from jobbers to meet final delivery dates.

·         Maintain good client relations and ensure a clear and steady stream of communication with them.

·         Regular Updates on production status and ensuring approval for any changes in production are taken before proceeding. Status files should be maintained every day.

·         Ensure optimum utilization of internal resources.

·         Follow all processes and documentation required in the production workflow. Ensure production files and server is always updated with all current information.
