DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

1. Experience in one or more scripting languages like Bash,  Golang, Ruby,  Python, power-shell.

2. Experience with software configuration management systems and source code version control systems (Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Git)

3. Experience with ELK Stack, Jenkins, MongoDB, AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure NewRelic/Grafana, Apache/Nginx, Docker Containers.

4. Ability to create and maintain continuous Integration Processes, Deployment Scripts , Server Spin-Up/Terminate Scripts and Scripts for basic server operations.

5. Should have more than 4 years of relative experience in DevOps.

Responsibilities:

1. Design the architecture for hosting applications on AWS based on current and future product needs.

2. You will also develop architecture strategies to ensure that current products can continue to evolve, ensure cost-effective data protection solutions, and ensure scalable solutions for enterprise-wide deployment

3. Source code management and bug tracking.

4. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize the performance using solutions like database indexes, Varnish, Memcache, Redis, CloudFront etc

5. Automate deployments(CI&CD) & other repetitive tasks using shell/Python scripts or tools like Capistrano, Jenkins, CodeDeploy etc

6. Implement automated backups

7. Following best development practices and life cycle processes.

8. High commitment to work and taking ownership of deliverables.

9. Attending client demos/meetings as well as internal scrum meetings. 

10. Develop instrumentation to monitor the health of software services including fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery
