Candidate has worked in start up environments and who have worked for SAAS based companies would prefer.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

-          Apply key testing methods to web and mobile applications within an Agile environment.

-          Maintain close working relationships with development teams, QA team, and operations/ leadership teams to understand project requirements ensure proper deployment of products to production.

-          Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

-          Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

-          Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

-          Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

-          Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

-          Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

-          Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

-          Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

-          Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

-          Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

 

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

 

-          Experience in Quality Engineering, with a focus on comprehensive web and mobile application testing.

-          Exposure to automation framework, SQL, Database queries, Java, HTML, Javascript.

-          A real passion for product quality and uncovering hard to find scenarios and bugs. You have high attention to detail, and you are good at finding edge cases.

-          Familiarity with Agile development processes and testing methodologies, and you can scope/prioritize testing responsibilities.

-          Good communication, organization and coordination skills.

-          Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting techniques.

-          Experience in prioritizing problems in problem tracking software applications.

-          Multi-tasker with the excellent aptitude and analytical bent of mind.

-          In-depth understanding of testing technologies and best practices.

-          Positive Attitude with a focus on growth and productivity
