Position: Mobile Lead- React Native

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

·         You will be writing code in React Native targeting the latest versions of our technology stack and encouraged to think creatively in order to fully utilize these tools.

·         You will participate in regular design sessions, code reviews and agile ceremonies.

·         You will work closely with the Product Owner and scrum team to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timescales

·         You will Provide technical mentorship and upskilling to scrum team members and across functional boundaries where appropriate

·         You will Identify areas for modification or refactoring inside our code-base and champion their improvement

·         You will lead by example, contributing to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution

·         You will also coordinate with Clients directly on various aspects of the project lifecycle.

·         You will be leading a team of 2-10+ React Native engineers. 

·         You will be responsible for maintaining best coding practices in your team. 

·         You will be engaged in team building activities like interviews, onboarding and mentoring new team members.

·         You will be engaged with the sales team as well in the capacity of lead technical consultant to crack new accounts by demonstrating your technical skills and project delivery experience. 

Requirements & Skills:

·         5-7+ years of development experience including team leadership experience

·         Proven track record of delivery high quality, high stake projects in agile environment

·         Proven experience in building, mentoring and managing efficient development teams

·         Modern web/front-end framework (React Native)

·         Typescript, CSS or LESS, Javascripts, HTML/CSS.

·         Modern source control systems (like Git, Bitbucket )

·         Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.

·         Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codes by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle.

·         Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

·         Experience with popular React Native workflows (such as Mobx or Redux).

 

Good to have:

·         Agile, Scrum, TDD

·         Exposure of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices (DevOps)

·         Experience with unit testing frameworks

·         SonarQube and writing clean code best practices

·         Experience with risk, compliance and document control business technology

·         Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle.
