Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Building Materials

Location: East Delhi, South Delhi, Noida, Ludhiana

Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years in Building Material Sales

Salary: 4-7 LPA

 

About the Role

We are seeking a result-driven Area Sales Manager with proven experience in the Building Material industry (Trading segment). The candidate should have strong relationships with architects, builders, interior design firms, and contractors to drive business growth across assigned territories.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, interior firms, and channel partners.

·         Identify and onboard new clients, projects, and trading opportunities in the building materials sector.

·         Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

·         Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and suggest business strategies.

·         Manage distributor and dealer networks for smooth supply chain and timely order fulfillment.

·         Collaborate with internal teams for pricing, credit management, and customer service.

·         Ensure regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and key market insights.

 

Key Requirements

·         Graduate / MBA with minimum 4+ years of experience in Building Material Sales (Trading segment).

·         Strong exposure to working with architects, builders, interior firms, and contractors.

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

·         Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

·         Willingness to travel extensively within assigned locations.

 

Preferred Candidate Profile

·         Previous experience in tiles, sanitaryware, paints, plywood, hardware, or related building materials.

·         Strong local market knowledge in Delhi NCR and Ludhiana regions.

·         Ability to handle multiple accounts and drive both B2B and B2C sales.
