Position: DevOps Engineer

Experience: 2-5 year

Experience Required (Must Have):

• 2+ years of experience in building technology products on open source technology.

• Worked on scalable web based products, ecommerce sites, web based ERP, etc.

ʉۢ Keen understanding of web site development and user experience.

• Prior ecommerce domain experience.

• Worked in troubleshooting PHP and MySQL to ensure performance and scalability issues can be solved.

• DB Performance Tuning Experience, MySQL Caching Understanding

• Load Balancing , Monitoring , Trouble Shooting

• Disaster Management in Case of system failure

• Server Security, Firewalls Setup, Port Blocking

• Experience of LAMP Apache Tuning , Nginx TuningHas built,managed highly scalable and redundant applications and environment using load balancers, nginx,httpd, database caching, page caching, memcached

• Ability to audit code and pre-empt issues it may cause in future; to suggest corrections to development team;

• Has built,managed highly scalable and redundant applications and environment using load balancers, nginx,httpd, database caching, page caching, memcached, redis and resque

• Has worked in an environment utilizing mysql clustering and,or master,slave setup.

• Must have experience with building and scaling APIs and managing and throttling API usage.

• Experience of user interface and user experience will be a big plus. Preferred Programming

 

 

Experience: PHP, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Node.js (not must), Jquery, Ruby (not must), Resque (not must), Liquid (not must), MySQL, NoSQL, Redis, Resque, Solr

 

Preferred Environment Experience: EC2, RDS, Centos, S3, GitHub, SSH, S3

 

Education: • Required B.Tech. from leading institutes in India or abroad
